Our outcross program

The German Rex (GRX) is very rare (all Rex breeds are rare in Germany). Therefore we need a good outcross program. We cross in a cat with a 'normal' coat in each 2nd generation.
GRX x CRX is not approved in the CFA.
In other associations (for example in the FIFe) is that possible.

The European shorthair
(EUR) are an important component of the GRX outcross program. The alternative is the American shorthair (ASH) in the USA.

In Germany is the pretty EUR very rare. They is not bred. We import these cats from neighbour countries or bring our queens to the studs.
A further possibility is the house cat. However there are health risks.

We breeders very enjoy this natural breed.
